ruffup Terms of Use (EULA)

Last updated: 2026-05-15

These are the terms for using ruffup (“the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t install the app.

1. License

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ruffup on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s standard App Store terms (the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/).

2. Subscription

ruffup uses Apple’s auto-renewable subscriptions to unlock its features. Two plans are offered through the in-app paywall:

Billing

Cancellation

You can cancel auto-renewal at any time:

Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep access until the current period ends. No partial refunds for unused time.

Price changes

If we change the auto-renew price, Apple will notify you and ask for your explicit consent before charging the new price.

Refunds

All subscription refunds are handled by Apple via https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

3. Permitted use

Don’t reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to break the app. Don’t use the app for anything illegal. Don’t try to bypass the subscription gate.

4. Notifications and alarms

ruffup schedules local alarm notifications using Apple’s AlarmKit (iOS 26+) or UserNotifications frameworks. Whether an alarm actually fires depends on iOS, your device state, and the permissions you’ve granted. Don’t use ruffup as your sole alarm for safety-critical wake-ups. We’re not liable for missed alarms.

5. No warranties

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular feature will keep working forever.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in subscription fees in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; cancelling your subscription is a separate step (see “Cancellation” above).

8. Apple-specific terms

You and we acknowledge that these terms are between you and the developer of ruffup, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The Apple App Store EULA governs anything these terms don’t cover.
